My Term One Memories
In term one we went to Pack ‘n’ Save for a class trip.
At Pack ‘n’ Save we learnt about healthy eating.
While we were learning about healthy eating I noticed that the things I like the best are unhealthy, like chocolate and chips.
When we went to Pack ‘n’ Save we were given a voucher for $60 so we were able to make a healthy lunch at school, we had smoothes with berries in, sushi and nice yummy wraps!

In maths this year I have improved enough to move up two classes, I am really proud of what I have done!

When the year 5s went on camp to the Marae and sonshine ranch I stayed in Miss Pillay’s class for two days. In Miss Pillay’s class we learnt about the rain forest and how it makes oxygen. If we keep on cutting
Down the trees there will be no more rain forest to make the oxygen we breathe!

Our house following instructions

1) first we made the floor with popsicle sticks. To covered it we used material.



2) Next we made walls with popsicle sticks.


3) Then we made the roof using straws.

4) then we painted the walls with purple and red.



5) We made a t.v. table and chairs to finish it off.


6) We put the roof on. BAM! The house was finished!

4 put cardboard on nails so it spins
5 glue 8 sticks to cardboard
6 glue connecting sticks
7 tape straws to outside sticks
8 glue cardboard chairs to sticks

Our Giant Pear Laptop

1) We got some cardboard, lots of material and a big piece of paper.

2) We then cut the cardboard into the right shape.

3) Next we stuck the paper on the top of the laptop.

4)We cut the material into small squares then stapled them around the outside of the paper to make a border around it.

5) Next, we took some more cardboard and cut it into small rectangles and wrote the alphabet on them.

6) We drew a pear on some paper and cut it out then stuck it in the middle of the paper.

7) We then got more rectangles made of cardboard and made more buttons like space bar and a mouse and a backspace.

8) Then we stuck the cardboard keys on the laptop on the inside.

9) Lastly, we stuck coloured paper on the screen, then drew on a normal peice of paper, the google page and stuck it on top of the coloured paper.

1] The first thing we did was cut the wood in half.

2]Then we got a good size piece of cardboard and bent it half.

3]After that we painted the wood black and white.

4]Fourthly we painted the cardboard black and white.

5]Next we glued everything together.

6]Then we put the legs on.
